Bio-energy from Montenegrin forests

> View Project Details

Drafting a roadmap and providing trainings on bio-energy opportunities within the national forestry programme of Montenegro.

The Forestry Development Montenegro (FODEMO) programme aims to rehabilitate forest cover through a reforestation and the establishment of a supportive fund for forest protection. To secure long-term revenue streams for forest operations, FODEMO sought to establish a sustainable market in modern wood fuels and to access carbon finance.
